The Foundation has been a Learning Link for me too, in fact more accurately a learning
curve, moving upwards with each passing year.
Ambitious and enthusiastic, I joined LLF almost a whole decade ago when I was invited
to coordinate a program in 2002. My first invaluable lesson from Dr. Anjlee Prakash
was to learn the value of advance planning, taking into account all permutations
and combinations and eventualities. A lesson that held me in good stead over the
years as I head the same operation now.
In fact my proudest moment was when I could execute what she had taught me to her
satisfaction at the 4th Asia Senior Trainers (Intel® Education ) Conference in Bangalore
(May 26-29, 2008) which had 41 participants from 13 countries. I was involved in
all its planning and organizing putting to use whatever I had learnt all through
my career, in making this conference a grand success.
The learning curve in the Foundation has never been limited to professional growth
but also to evolution of self. Working in a team under Nuriya, I have had the opportunity
make lasting relationships with my colleagues, becoming more structured and more
accountable with each new project that we undertook.
The fun part of all this is that I feel my journey has just begun and I still have
a long way to go. Managing a perfect execution of my work and taking the work at
hand to its logical conclusion is the aim I hold dearest to my heart.
