Profiles of Key Foundation Personnel

Dr. Anjlee Prakash

Dr. Anjlee is currently CEO of Learning Links Foundation, a trust providing a variety of services for the developmental sector, focusing on interventions in the Education and Community Development Sector.

Dr Anjlee Prakash has over 18 year’s experience in the field of education and educational technology. She has worked extensively in both the government and private sector, providing consultancy support to Central Government bodies on the use of educational technology in curriculum transaction.

In addition, she has developed extensive educational content for use by teachers using ICT in the teaching-learning process with guidelines for effective delivery. Her passion for education and concern over quality in education has led her to join hands with some leading educationists in the country to launch the Education Quality Foundation of India (EQFI). The Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that aims at evangelizing the concept of “quality in education” across schools in India.

After doing her Masters in Education, Dr Anjlee Prakash did her Ph.D in Education, focusing on cognitive development in children. It is this strong pedagogical background that she brought to the table as one of the founding Director’s of India’s leading Education Technology Company; Educomp Solutions Ltd.

Ms. Nuriya Ansari

Nuriya is currently Vice President of Learning Links Foundation. In charge of strategic development and deployment for Learning Links and its partners, in her current role she works with key associates in developing CSR, philanthropic and developmental strategies for execution. She also helps develop performance and sustainability models for projects.

Nuriya has over 10 year’s experience in the field of education and psychology. She has engaged extensively with key partners in the government and private sector, providing diverse and innovative solutions leading to development of sustainable and measurable outcomes for partner.

In addition, she has experience in developmental psychology and family therapy and has worked as a therapist and vocational counselor, providing feedback to young adults about their strengths and opportunities and has worked with parents for creating a positive responsive family environment amidst the challenges families face today.

After doing her BA (Hons) in Psychology, Nuriya did her M.A in Psychology, and has published 3 papers focusing on the concept of ethnicity in children, stereotyping amongst religious communities and job satisfaction. It is this strong psycho – educational background that she brings to the Foundation as a key member of the team.

Mrs. Agnes Nathan

Agnes is currently Vice President, Content Development at Learning Links Foundation. She is an expert curriculum developer, trainer and currently overlooks all Learning Links Content Development initiatives.

Agnes has over 12 year’s experience in the field of education. In the Foundation initially as an international trainer, she has provided professional development to key Government persons, educationists and industry partners from Pakistan, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia, Korea, Philippines, China, Japan and Thailand.

As a Curriculum expert, she has also undertaken adaptation and Localisation projects for various Professional Development Programs using ICT skills as a productivity function. In addition, she has undertaken adaptation and localisation projects related to development of employability skills and 21st century skills. In addition she has world wide content development experience, working on projects spread across 20 countries.

After doing her Bachelors in Science, Agnes did her B.Ed and a Diploma Social work from St Xavier’s College, Kolkata. It is this strong pedagogical and social work background that makes her an asset to the Foundation.

Mrs. Nisha Dua

Nisha has been working with the Foundation since 2003; prior to this she was associated with Educomp Solutions working since Feb 2000. She has a vast teaching experience of almost two decades in various capacities – from Primary to Senior Secondary classes mainly for English and Computer Science. She had completed B. Ed; Masters in English and also Diploma in Systems Management from NIIT.

Nisha is a creative and dynamic person who played a key role in the launch of Intel® Teach In-Service Program in Mumbai, working closely with the private schools. By dint of her hard work and proactive strategies she was successful in the pilot and ramp of Intel® Teach Pre-Service Program, associating closely with the Departments & Colleges of Education across the country. Currently she is the Manager Strategic Relationship; her responsibility is to provide consultancy services for Foundation partners and drive engagements with strategic business partners.

She has established relationships with Universities and Apex Educational Bodies. She proactively strategizes relationships with client; team and stakeholders.

Nisha demonstrates a strong desire to succeed and takes complete ownership of the deliverables. She proactively identifies enablers and barriers in the work area and works around them to achieve the desired results.

Ms. Shatarupa Dasgupta

An Ex-officer of the Indian Navy and a yoga enthusiast, Shatarupa brings with her a wealth of experience having served the community in diverse ways. While she has keenly organized environmental awareness camps for youth and children she has also worked as a Project Coordinator, in a non-governmental organization, for a UNICEF supported project.

Heading the Community Development Initiatives at Learning Links Foundation.

Shatarupa has been instrumental in spearheading community services and after-school learning programs in various parts of India. Her expertise in the field is matched by her passion for the program.

Trained in Personnel Management and alumni of the St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, she is currently pursuing PG Diploma in Training and Development from the Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD).

She firmly believes that after-school initiatives on skill based education will revive the interest of children in main stream education.

Ambika Khurana

Ambika joined LLF after a rich year stint with the Tata Group and Modi Group in diverse roles of education and technology consultancy, marketing, project management and development of multi-national institutional partnerships At LLF, she is concentrating on strengthening the brand value of a key client for its multi-faceted Education programs. Through strategic partnerships with national, state level and private education bodies, the education programs reach out to close to a million teachers and millions of students across the country. Driving Thought Leadership for the client organization, Ambika feels the spread of effective integration of technology in education goes a long way in imparting quality education and skills to make students of today successful in the future.

A Business Management and Engineering Graduate by qualification, she is passionate about driving maximum impact to the stakeholders through the education interventions of the organization
